I seem to post between illnesses right now, only I'm not yet over my cold. Last Sunday I started coming down with a cold. I went for a ride anyway because we had a dentist appointment on Monday and I wanted to be sure I could find out dentist's office on bike. There is a park right across the street from the office so once I found it I spent a few minutes walking around and taking a few pictures.

One of the interesting scenes I happened upon was a lady having makeup applied. I asked a man who was with the group about it and he told me that the lady was his girlfriend and she was learning to apply makeup to her face to look like a Chinese cartoon character. Apparently, this is very big in Tianjin right now. they did not mind me taking a few pictures. I have them in the wrong order because I wanted the pictures of the girl last instead of first but I guess you'll just have to forgive me.

Monday I came down with the cold and I've had it ever since. Today is Friday and I'm tired of it and want it to just go away and leave me alone but it won't.
