Hello everyone, after a wonderful vacation in the US we are back in China. We arrived back at about 7:30 last evening after a 12 hour plane ride and a two hour car ride. We arrived to no food but a little snack food and a weariness that precluded a meal out. We unpacked a little, took showers and went to bed. Today we are back to our old routine: we cleaned and did laundry this morning, went to the bakery and market late morning, came home, soaked our fruits and vegetables, ate lunch, cleaned up the dishes and are feeling like a nap right now.
We talked to Wes and Pat this morning. They've been back for a week and they are having trouble getting readjusted to China time after a month in the States. We hope it won't take us as long to get our internal clocks adjusted.
Hopefully in a couple of days one of us will feel like writing more and we'll be able to give you a recap of the past 6 weeks - you may only want to read the part you weren't involved in.
We also will include pics of lots of the people we saw so you may be a celebrity, you never know.
It is amazing how fast our time at home went and our first 6 months in China. We will be back home for good before we know it so I am trying to make the most of every minute here!
