The weather

We received an email the other day telling us that fall has arrived in Springfield with cool nights and days in the 70s. We like the sound of that. Our days are still very much like they were before we went to the states in July. Lows in the upper 60s to low 70s and highs in the upper 80s. I, for one, wish it would cool off a little. I seem to remember someone telling us that fall is short. We woke up to extremely foggy conditions this morning but the wind has picked up in the last 15 minutes and blown most of it away. Now it smells like rain. The wind has died down.
