The following is an email that I received from one of my students. It just warms my heart that my students like and appreciate me and my silly efforts. They are so anxious to learn, so attentive, so respectful. This young lady was asked to translate for two foreign nurses who are coming to one of the hospitals in Tianjin. She was very worried about doing a good job but her Englist certifications showed that she was qualified. She was asking my advice. In truth her English may not be quite good enough, but what she lacked most was confidence. I tried to reassure her. She was grateful. It is experiences like these that make working in China so worthwhile.

Mr. Braun,

It is so nice of you. Today I took your advice to ask my classmate to help me.she agreed. It was great.Maybe I could call my head nurse and get more information about the American guests.
From your class I have learnt more skills about speaking English,I should be confident to do this job well.

By the way,I think you are really the happiness person.Your wife is not only beautiful but also kind-hearted.I remember that a few days ago, when I rushed into the western building to go to my class,I happened to meet Mrs Braun, she was so polite and warm-hearted.She opened the door for me and let me enter first.I am not late for my class. Please send my thanks to her again. And I learnt much more than knowledge from you and Mrs Braun.

I will not trouble you on Friday. You also have much things to do.You are so kind.Thank you all the same.
Best wishes.

Your student,Linda
