Lost purse

I have a wonderful experience that I want to share. James and I traveled on the train yesterday and I accidentally left my purse in the seat when I left.
We were on our way out of the station when I realized I didn’t have it so I reported it. They checked the train and could not find it but took my name and number. At first I was upset, like you are when you lose something, plus other feelings that go along with it. Then I realized it only had my phone in it, my keys, and a very small amount of money, about $10. The worst part was I really liked the purse and the key ring and "decoration" on my phone were gifts. But after talking to James and Pat and Wes and hearing their stories about what they had also lost, I felt better. We got home and I remembered that I had also put a "good" pen in my purse and my "little black book" that I use to write things down in and that has some things I refer to when we are out. I then remembered that I also had all my passwords for all kinds of accounts written in it. Shoot....Luckily I had most of them written down in another place, so I stayed up late to change them all in the computer.
We planned to ask a Chinese friend to help me buy a phone the next day and have another key for the apartment made. I had accepted what happened and slept well.
The following morning, today, I received a call that my purse was found. A woman who spoke some English talked to James and explained where to go to pick it up. I couldn't believe it! I really figured it would just be the purse and nothing else. We arrived at the train station and called the same woman for help. She notified the personnel there of our need. We waited less than five minutes and were escorted to a room occupied by two police officers. We were asked to sit and they produced my purse. One of them asked James to call the cell phone to make sure it was mine and he did and after turning it on it rang. After that they asked a few questions and filled out a form that I had to sign. I also called Xue, the Chinese person who takes care of all the foreign experts, and she talked to the policemen. Right after that I was given my purse and everything was in it, even the money! James and I were treated with the utmost courtesy and kindness.

Just that night, we were talking to some Baha'i' friends about how we feel "protected" here. That was a living example of it. Here is a quote that explains how this works:

"They that have forsaken their country for the purpose of teaching Our Cause--these shall the Faithful Spirit strengthen through its power. A company of Our chosen angels shall go forth with them, as bidden by Him Who is the Almighty, the All-Wise. How great the blessedness that awaiteth him that hath attained the honor of serving the Almighty! By My life! No act, however great, can compare with it, except such deeds as have been ordained by God, the All-Powerful, the Most Mighty. Such a service is, indeed, the prince of all goodly deeds, and the ornament of every goodly act. Thus hath it been ordained by Him Who is the Sovereign Revealer, the Ancient of Days."
