Linda and Xue, our Chinese person in charge of foreign experts and foreign students.
Happy New Year to everyone. Last Friday we had a dinner for the foreign experts in a new restaurant here on campus. The dinner was very good but very rich and very much a meat and fish dinner - there wasn't much Linda could eat but she claimed that it was alright with her she got enough to eat. I ate too much. The president of the University handed out gifts to each of us.
We all fit at 2 tables. Xue, the Chinese person in charge of foreign experts and foreign students ate with us. She is the young lady next to Linda.
