This is a view of the little alley that leads to our apartment. Notice all the bikes. These belong to the students. There are bikes everywhere. The other day the wind blew very hard and blew some of the bikes over. A couple of the bikes had parts break off. The students are on holiday right now. It's sad to think that they'll return to find their bike broken. This is really a city in transition. There are thousands of bikes and thousands of cars on the roads that all move along in this symphony of movement that to an outsider is scarry but just keeps moving and flowing. We have not seen an accident yet. There does not seem to be road rage here but lots of horn honking which everyone seems to ignore completely.
