We then came home for dessert which included chocolate chip cookies and ice cream and puffed rice cakes which are like rice crispy treats and candied apples. I also found some really good instant mocha. We were stuffed. We ended with a fashion show of the skirt that Julia's mom gave me ( I think she knew all along it would be for me) and some "parent" pictures. Monkey's mom said we are like sisters. She is my mei mei and I am her jie jie. ( younger sister and older sister). She was teaching me chinese words all day long with the sign as in sign language that goes with them. We'll see how many I remember!

Getting ready for our company and having it so close to Thanksgiving made me think of how it feels preparing for a holiday, the special preparation and anticipation. It was a great feeling but made me miss my family and friends. We wish you are blessed Thanksgiving. We will celebrate it with our Baha'i' friends here in one of their apartments. There will be turkey so you don't have to feel sorry for us. We have so much to be thankful for including all of you!
