Sometimes it is hard for me to believe that we have only been in China 9 months and then we were back in the states for 6 weeks of that. It really feels so much like home here now. We have an ever expanding social schedule. People are very eager to do things with us. We had lunch with 2 of Linda's students yesterday and had a group over last night. Then today we have a Chinese lesson at 10:00, I am meeting a friend at 1:30 to try to find some electronic things we need. This young man is so smart and so friendly. It is a real joy to converse with him. I guess I can't get more specific than that. It is just fun to talk to people who don't mind showing that they are intelligent and like to talk about "things".
This evening I'm playing ping pong with some of my students again while Linda goes to English Corner for nurses. Then Saturday afternoon, one of my students asked if I would play basletball with him. We'll see how that goes. Most of those skills are gone. I hope it with a group of people and not just the two of us. I'll only be good for an hour anyway.
I love hearing from people so keep those emails pouring in.
We are doing well here and really like what we're doing.
