There are many different kinds of art in Dali; many different crafts, many different trinkets, many kinds of clothes that are particular to the area and the ethnic minority that makes up the majority of the people - the Bai minority. They are well know for their brightly colored clothing, headresses and shoes. They are also famous for making tie-dyed material in very intricate patterns.
