In Dali every day was an adventure. I feel that Linda got really good at bargaining. We both got better. If we thought something was too much we'd just turn and walk away. People usually said ok to our price because they knew we'd go somewhere else and buy the same thing.

We did not actually stay in Dali. We stayed at the condo of a friend who offered it to us. It was about 4 Km from the old city of Dali which is the tourist attraction but it is located a short but intense 2o minute walk from the cable car that went up Cangshan mountain.

This is Seeds Vegetarian Restaurant. We ate there our first night in Dali. They had great bread so we bought our bread that we ate for breakfast every day from Seeds.
